Promotion of Energy from Renewable Sources (Amendment) Regulations, 2023 (L.N. 53 of 2023).

These regulations, which shall be read and construed as one with the Promotion of Energy from Renewable Sources Regulations ("the principal regulations"), amend such Regulations.
In sub-regulation (1) of regulation 4 of the principal regulations, immediately after the words "the Minister may apply support schemes" is added the following new proviso: "Provided that no support shall be granted, by means of any scheme or otherwise, for renewable energy produced from the incineration of waste, if the separate collection obligations established in Directive 2008/98/EC have not been complied with in respect of said waste."
