Abstract
These Regulations set out the regulatory framework for the promotion of energy from renewable sources, which include wind, solar, aerothermal, geothermal, hydrothermal and ocean energy, hydropower, biomass, landfill gas, sewage treatment plant gas and biogases. They stipulate that the share of energy from renewable sources in gross final consumption of energy in 2020 shall be at least the national overall target for the share of energy from renewable sources of 10 percent. To this end further the Regulations establish the method for calculating the share of energy from renewable sources. Further provisions concern the adoption of the National Renewable Energy Action Plan.
