Abstract
These Rules concern undesirable substances in animal feeding and aim at protecting human health and the environment against adverse effects caused by livestock production. They stipulate that animal feeds may be imported from third countries, be put into circulation and used within the national territory only if they are sound, genuine and of merchantable quality. The schedules attached lay down the list of undesirable substances in animal feed and related maximum levels.
