Unfair Trading Practices in the Food Supply Chain Regulations, 2021

Abstract
The scope of these regulations is to transpose and implement Directive (EU) 2019/633 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 on unfair trading practices in businessto- business relationships in the agricultural and food supply chain.
The regulations apply to certain unfair trading practices which occur in relation to the sale of agricultural and food products, provided that the supplier has a certain, established, annual turnover, and to explicitly referred services.
A Board is established by the regulations to which complaints must be addressed by suppliers, as well as its competition, competences and procedures.
Prohibited practices are also addressed.
