Waste Management (Packaging and Packaging Waste) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020

These regulations add a new sub-regulation (6) to regulation (2) of the Waste Management (Packaging and Packaging Waste) Regulations 2006 (principal regulations), excluding some kind of beverages and producers from the application of said regulations, to the extent that they are covered by the Beverage Containers Recycling Regulations, 2020. Such producers are not exonerated from the provisions of the principal regulations with respect to other packaging/packaging material.
