Abstract
These Regulations place restrictions on the movement of any pig, pig carcase or any pig product for purposes of fighting swine fever. They also place restrictions on the importation of live pigs, kitchen waste products and pig products, including porc meat, into Mauritius. vaccination of pigs shall be compulsory and the keeping of pigs shall be notified. The Regulations grant powers to the Chief Agricultural Officer to order slaughtering of animals.
