Abstract
These Regulations, made by the Central Water Board, with the approval of the Minister, under section 49 of the Central Water Authority Act, provide for the imposition of fees for the use of water supplied by the Authority to bottling premises. A person who holds a ground water licence issued under section 7 of the Ground Water Act or a person to whom the Authority has agreed to supply water under the Central Water Authority (Water Supply for Non-Domestic Purposes) Regulations 2011, and who is involved in the production of drinks, shall install a meter at the inlet of the bottling premises to record the volume of water used in the production of drinks. The Authority shall calculate the number of litres of water used by a consumer on the basis of the consumer's monthly return and issue a bill to the consumer.
