Commodities (Registration of Traders) Regulations 1978 (G.N. No. 126 of 1978).

These Regulations provide for the registration of any person engaged in the trade of any commodity specified in the Schedule to these Regulations, i.e. fresh fruit, vegetables and fresh fish. A trader in specified commodities shall apply to the Minister for registration and the issuance of a certificate of registration and no trader shall deal in a commodity unless he or she holds a certificate of registration.
