Abstract
These Regulations amend the Consumer Protection (Price and Supplies Control) Act 1998 , in the Second Schedule, by inserting, in the appropriate alphabetical order, the new words "imported live cattle". The effect of these Regulations is that imported live cattle is now classified as a good for which the Minister may, by Regulations, determine the maximum mark-up. A trader who sells or supplies any controlled goods at a price which includes a mark-up which exceeds the maximum mark-up shall commit an offence.
