Abstract
These Regulations, made under section 35 of the Consumer Protection (Price and Supplies Control) Act, amend the the Consumer Protection (Control of Manufacture and Sale of Bread) Regulations 2018. The amendments concern: definition of bread; insertion of new terms and definitions, including: subsidies and Director General; specific requirements for every baker; quantity of every type of bread manufactured daily; name and address of every bread seller who purchases bread from the baker and the quantity of bread supplied to the bread seller; daily revenue generated per type of bread sold; name and post of each worker present daily and his respective daily hours of work; insertion of new section concerning subsidy payable in respect of the type of bread manufactured; administrative measure in case of payment of any sum in excess.
