Abstract
These Regulations concern environmental health in the municipality of Curepipe. They impose obligations on occupiers of premises regarding sanitary conditions of premises and provide rules regarding (organic) waste disposal and collection. Every occupier or owner shall, among other things, keep empty premises or bareland clean and free from all under grown vegetation and waste and segregate at source all waste in separate receptacles designated for that specific purpose as per instruction of the Municipal Town Council of Curepipe, and shall not dispose of toxic waste in receptacles. Compliance notices may be served on owners or occupiers of premises partly or wholly covered with overgrown vegetation or in unsanitary conditions.
