Abstract
These Regulations, made under sections 41 and 96 of the Environment Protection Act, no. 19 of 2002, provide for specification of environmental noise standards. The Regulations concern: noise emitted from domestic premises, night and private clubs, mechanical devices; noise emitted from factories and industrial plants, from aircraft, animals, traffic and stations generating electricity. The Regulations identifies the enforcing agency as the competent body to effect noise measurement and establishes noise exposure limits.
