Food (Amendment) Act 2004 (No. 24 of 2004).

This Act amends section 4 of the Food Act 1998 by inserting immediately after the subsection (1) as renumbered, a new subsection granting powers to an authorized officer, in addition to the powers provided for under sub-section (1) of section 4, to conduct an enquiry, to swear an information and to conduct a prosecution before a Magistrate, in respect of any offence under the Food Act 1998 Act or any Regulations made under it.
