Irrigation Area (Declaration of Irrigation Area) Regulations 2014 (GN. No. 22 of 2014).

These Regulations, made by the Minister under sections 14 and 21 of the Irrigation Authority Act, declare irrigation areas for purposes of section 14 of the Act. That section empowers the Minister, where he or she is satisfied that it is necessary or expedient in the interest of development or utilization of water or land resources in any area of Mauritius, to declare the area to be an irrigation area.
