Mauritius Cane Industry Authority (Delivery of Canes for Production of Juice) Regulations 2016 (GN No. 135 of 2016).

These Regulations, made by Regulations made by the Minister under section 63 of the Mauritius Cane Industry, requires an application for an authorisation under section 24 of the Act to deliver canes to a person engaged in the production of fresh juice for direct consumption to be made in such form as the Authority may determine and shall be accompanied, subject to regulation 4(3), by the appropriate fee specified in the Schedule. The Control and Arbitration Committee may, with the approval of the Minister, may grant an authorisation to a planter to deliver canes to a person engaged in the production of fresh juice for direct consumption. An authorisation granted shall be subject to such conditions as the Authority may determine.
