Waste Water (Registration of Waste Water Carriers and Disposal of Waste Water) Regulations 2006 (GN. No. 37 of 2006).

These Regulations provide for the registration and deregistration of waste carriers and the require wastewater to be transported and disposed of in accordance with these Regulations. No person shall use a waste carrier to carry wastewater unless the waste carrier is registered with the Waste Water Management Authority. A waste carrier, in order to obtain a permit, shall meet requirements regarding waste carriers as set out in the Second Schedule to these Regulations. Wastewater shall be disposed of only in places mentioned in the Fifth Schedule and shall be transported only in a wastewater carrier that satisfies the conditions of a permit issued by the Authority.
