2nd Amendment to Environment Protection and Preservation Act of Maldives.

This Act amends the Environment Protection and Preservation Act of Maldives (Law No. 4/93). A new section is added after section 8 of the original Act. This new section prohibits the import, manufacture and marketing of single-use plastic products in Maldives. The list of single-use plastics must be published in the government gazette. The procedure to determine the list of single-use plastics is laid down. Further, the definitions of single-use plastics, manufacture and marketing are laid down.
