Abstract
An Act relating to fishing by inhabitant of one island in the lagoon of another inhabited island. Permission to fish in the lagoon of another island should be obtained prior to fishing from the responsible office of that island. When an island as an unusually large lagoon, the Atoll Chief may, in consultation with the Department of Fisheries, demarcate a certain portion of the lagoon for common fishing (arts. 2 and 3). Articles 4 and 5 deal with permissions for - and protection of enclosures made by inhabitants of islands. (6 articles)
