Abstract
"Remedy" is a substance for the fighting of noxious pests or diseases affecting plants or animals. Section 2 also defines "farm feed". No person shall sell fertilizers, farm feed or remedy unless registered under this Act (sect. 3). Also plants used for sterilising of animal products shall be registered. Procedures of registration are laid down in section 8. The registering officer may impose conditions in regard of any registration, as he thinks fit. Appeal may be filed with the Minister against decision of the registering officer (sect. 10). Powers of inspectors, appointed under section 11 by the Minister, are specified in section 12. Remaining provisions prescribe offences and penalties, and provide with respect to criminal proceedings, publication of returns, and compensation in the case a farm is sold otherwise than in accordance with provisions of this Act.
