Abstract
Waters may be closed for trout fishing by the Minister (rule 4). No person shall fish for trout unless in possession of a valid licence (rule 5). Rule 7 prescribes methods of fishing. The minimum size of trout that may be killed is specified in Schedule 4 (rule 8). Other provisions deal with enforcement (officers and measures), offences and penalties (18 rules and 5 Schedules; trout waters (1); form of trout fishing licence (2); conditions of licence (3); size of fish (4); trout waters in which only fly fishing is permitted (5)).
