Abstract
This is an Act to control the iodization of common salt. It provides that salt must be iodized to such specification as the Minister, by order, may prescribe before it is sold or distributed to the public or used in the manufacture or processing of food for human or animal consumption. The Act further provides for the registration of businesses involved in the salt iodization. It also provides for restrictions on the iodization of salt and for inspections that public officers, appointed by the Minister, may conduct for the purposes of this Act.
