Abstract
The Act makes provision for various matters relating to land survey in Malawi. It establishes the Land Surveyors Registration Board and the he Malawi Geographic Information Council and provides with respect to licensing, registration and duties of surveyors. The Council shall be the sole authority for licensing and registering spatial data in Malawi. Survey plans shall be deposited with the Surveyor General and shall be property of the Government.
