Abstract
These Regulations provide for restrictions on the movement of tobacco between the hours of sunset and sunrise within Malawi. Tobacco may be moved only between sunset and sunrise: (a) for the purpose of sale at the established Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation markets or for the purpose of sale to a person licensed to buy and resell tobacco under the Special Crops Act; (b) by an owner who is in possession of an export permit issued under the Control of Goods Act to export such tobacco; (c) by a person who is in possession of tobacco bought in accordance with section 10 of the Tobacco Act; or (d) by a person licensed to grow and sell or to buy and resell tobacco under the Special Crops Act.
