Abstract
These Rules prescribe fees or charges as may be necessary for the purposes of the Abattoirs (Privatization) Act 1993.
The Act lists fees to be paid or charged for the following activities: fees paid to register as a registered user which may bring the animals to the abattoir for slaughter; fees charged by a licence operator for services and facilities used by a registered user; and fees charged by a licensed operator for emergency slaughter.
