Electricity Regulations 1994.

These Regulations make provisions for the installation, operation and maintenance of electrical equipment. Any Electrical Services Engineer, Competent Electrical Engineer, Electrical Supervisor, Chargeman, Wireman or Cable Jointer shall possess a valid Certificate of Competency appropriate to such category.
The Regulations further provides for: registration of installations; inspection and test of installation; material, equipment and method of Installation; requirements for registration as an Electrical Contractor; offences and penalties; etc.
