Abstract
These Regulations apply to any premises which discharge sewage onto or into any soil, or into any inland waters.
Any work that may result in a new source of sewage discharge must be authorized by the Director General according to the provisions set out in the text.
The Regulations set forth acceptable conditions of sewage discharge and establish the methods to be employed for the chemical analysis of sewage.
The Regulations further provide for: monitoring of sewage discharge; containment measures for spills or accidental discharge of sewage; restrictions on the discharge of sludge onto land or into inland waters; inspection measures; licence fees; penalties; etc.
