Abstract
These By-laws provide for the management and maintenance of animal quarantine stations.
The State Director of Veterinary Services shall be responsible for the general supervision of the quarantine stations.
The By-laws provide for: restrictions on the entry and reception of animals and persons in the quarantine station; the admittance of diseased animals; the admittance of animals accompanied by an import licence; period of quarantine; examination of animals during quarantine; treatment or destruction of animals; measures to be taken for the removal of animals from the quarantine station; quarantine fees; penalties; etc.
