Abstract
These Regulations amend the Food Regulations, 1985.
Amendments include: insertion of a new subregulation 38(1A) prohibiting the import, sale, preparation, etc. of food containing metal contaminants; minor word changes to subregulation 39(4) and 285(1A); substitution of Table I in the Fourteenth Schedule with a new Table on the maximum permitted proportion of metal contaminant in specified food; insertion of a new Table IA to IE; and substitution of Table II in the Fifteenth Schedule on mycological contaminants.
