Abstract
This Act lays down amendments to the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (Incorporation) Act 1973, which set up a corporate body engaged in the industry and trade of timber. The main amendments concern: the membership of the above-mentioned Board; the registration that is required to carry on business as a supplier or timber processor for the purpose of export trade; the register of exporters, suppliers and timber processors; inspection at legal landing places.
