Abstract
The Enactment amends section 2 of the Parks Enactment 1984 by giving a new definition of "animal" and "vegetation" and by inserting the definition of "protected plant". Among other matters, the Enactment replaces section 48 which contains a list of activities that are prohibited within a park except with a written permission of the Board of Trustee. Further amendments concern the power of inspection of the Director of Trustee or Park Officer (sect. 51), the power of the Director to compound offences (sect. 56), and penalties (sect. 58). Moreover, the Parks Enactment 1984 is amended by inserting after section 61 a Schedule, containing the list of protected plants.
