Regulation relative to export licences for plants, parts of plants or plant products.

An export licence is required for the export of any species of plant or any plant part which is alive and can be propagated and includes the stem, branch, tuber, bulb, corm, rhizome, stock, budwood, cutting, layer, slip, sucker, root, flower, fruit, seed or any other part like pollen, spores, meristem tissue, callus tissue in culture medium or cryogenically preserved. An application can be made by completing a form obtainable from any Plant Quarantine Office This application must be accompanied by custom forms specified and the import permit or a certified true copy of the import permit from the importing country. Controlled commodities such as coconut and plants under CITES will also need their respective permits to be provided.
