Regulations for the Importation of Wool, Hair and Bristles into Malaysia.

These Regulations shall apply to the importation from any country into Malaysia of wool, hair and bristles for the purpose of industrial use. All consignments of the above-mentioned animal products shall be accompanied by (a) a valid import permit to be granted by the Department of Veterinary Services Malaysia; (b) a veterinary health certificate to be issued by a competent veterinary authority of the country of origin. Regulation 3 refers to transportation. At the point or port of landing, such consignments shall be subject to the veterinary inspections referred to in Regulation 5.
