Abstract
This Order, consisting of 3 Sections, is enacted in accordance with Water Services Industry Act, 2006. It prescribes exemptions from holding a licence under the Act.
Any person who owns a private water supply system or private sewerage system or any part of the system undertake, provide or make available any water supply services or sewerage services or part thereof by means of operating a private water supply system or private sewerage system, is exempted from holding a class licensee under the Act. Notwithstanding the exemption granted, a person who is exempted from the licensing requirements shall comply with the duties and obligations of a licensee as if the person is a class licensee under the Act.
