Decree No. 26/2024 approving the Regulation on the Control of Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and their equipment.

This Decree, under the provisions of article 33 of Law No. 20/97 of 1 October, approves the Regulation on the Control of Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and their equipment. The purpose of this Regulation is to control the production, export, import, transit, trade and consumption of hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment. This Regulation, with the exception of medicinal purposes, applies to public, private, production, export, import, transit, trade and transport of equipment and chemical substances in the refrigeration and air-conditioning sector that directly or indirectly influence public health and the environment.
