Abstract
This Decree approves the Statute of the National Institute for Standardization and Quality (INNOQ, IP). This Statute, consisting of 45 articles divided into six Chapters, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Institute. This legal entity of public law, category A, is endowed with legal personality, administrative, financial, patrimonial and technical autonomy and has the function of implementing the National Policy on Quality through activities of Standardization, Metrology, Conformity Assessment and Quality Management aimed at the development of the national economy.
