Abstract
This Law, consisting of 9 Chapters and 1 Annex, establishes the Law on Tourism. It establishes the legal framework to promote touristic activities within the country. This Law aims at the following sectors: promoting the socio-economic development of the country according to the National forestry, animal, mineral, archeological and artistic heritage; preserving historical and cultural values; contributing to the creation of job opportunities and economic growth, in a harmonized balance; stimulating the National private sector to participate in the promotion and development of touristic resources; establishing inter-institutional participation mechanisms; promoting the biodiversity conservation of the marine and land ecosystems; improving the level of life of local communities, promoting their participation in the tourism sector, etc.
