Ministerial Decision No. 17/2019 approving the Statute of the Provincial Directorate for the Sea, Inland Waters and Fisheries.

This Ministerial Decision approves the Statute of the Provincial Directorate for the Sea, Inland Waters and Fisheries. This Statue, consisting of four Chapters divided into 18 articles, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Directorate, entitled to perform the following activities: ensure the implementation of programmes and plans defined by the State bodies and by the Provincial Government for the sea, inland waters and fisheries sector; exercise the powers laid down in specific laws relating to these sectors; provide guidance and support to economic and social units in these sectors; ensure technical, methodological and administrative support to district bodies in the sectors; ensure technical support to the sea, inland waters and fisheries sectors; ensure the implementation of national policies based on the central plans and decisions and the Provincial Government, according to the needs of territorial development; direct and control activities of sectoral bodies and institutions by providing them with technical, methodological and administrative support, etc.
