Abstract
The purpose of this Ministerial Diploma is to define the technical provisions, under the Regulation on the Licensing of Drinking Water Supply by Private Suppliers, with which private drinking water distribution systems to the public in Mozambique must comply, in order to ensure their overall proper functioning, preserving public health, the safety of users and facilities, as well as the preservation of surface and groundwater resources and the environment in general. The public distribution of drinking water by private suppliers covers domestic and public consumption and, where technically, economically and financially viable, may also include commercial, industrial, firefighting and other uses of force majeure.
