Abstract
This Ministerial Order aims to define and adopt procedures relating to the processing of licences for artisanal, semi-industrial, industrial, experimental, research, training, and recreational aquaculture activities, and pursuant to the provisions of Article 2 of Decree No. 99/2021 of 31 December, on the Aquaculture Regulation. The practice of the above mentioned aquaculture activities is subject to authorisation for installation, issuance of the corresponding operating licences and sanitary licence, in accordance with the specific applicable legislation. Aquaculture licensing follows these steps: a) administrative registration and enrolment; b) installation authorisation process; c) licensing process.
