Abstract
This Ministerial Order aims at adapting the wood processing standards of native species, with a view to operationalize the implementation of Law No. 14/2016 of 30 December. The standards for the primary transformation of logs of all native wood-forestry species are as follows: a) Planks: sawn wood, correctly squared with a thickness of 7.5 to 12.5 cm, width greater than 15 cm and length equal to or greater than 80 cm; b) Planks: sawn wood, correctly squared with thickness up to 7.5 cm, width greater than 7.5 cm and length equal to or greater than 80 cm; c) Bars: sawn wood, correctly squared with a thickness of 5 to 10 cm, width up to 15 cm; d) Parquet planks: correctly squared wood with Wooden batten: Pieces of sawn wood on all four sides and on the tops, originating from wood-producing species of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th class, used as batten in the laying of railway lines with normal transverse dimensions with thickness between 13 to 25 cm and width between 13 to 30 cm.
