Abstract
This Agreement between Namibia and Angola, reaffirms the commitment of both new sovereign states to development and utilization of the Kunene River as set out in the Agreement between Portugal and South Africa of 1969. The Parties agree to certain flow arrangements and technical operations in the river and establish the Joint Operating Authority, as foreseen in the 1969 Agreement.
