Abstract
These Regulations, made under section 9 of the Controlled Wildlife Products and Trade Act, concerns control on trade in controlled wildlife, A person who wants to import, export, re-export or re-introduce from the sea any species listed in the Appendices of the Convention, including live specimens as well as parts and derivatives must apply to the CITES Office. Conditions of CITES permits are specified. The Regulations also concern the transport of live animals listed in the CITES Appendix I and I, procedures to be followed when CITES specimen are imported, exported or introduced from the sea, controlled wildlife products manufacturer’s licence or a dealer’s licences, registers, returns and accounts of controlled wildlife products to be kept by controlled wildlife products manufacturers and dealers, possession of controlled wildlife products and marking of controlled wildlife products.
