Abstract
These Rules have the purpose to regulate the animal feed production and use, including other relevant issues in order to grant a control process and to set the limits of undesirable substance in animal feeding stuff as regards the territory of Gibraltar.
The text is divided into 8 sections. Main topics covered are: general terms and interpretations; control of feeding stuffs containing undesirable substances; duty to give a statutory statement; enforcement; power to enter premises and take samples; sampling and analysis; and offences and penalties.
This, beside those already linked, here involves the rules contained in Commission Directive 2009/141/EC of 23 November 2009 amending Annex I to Directive 2002/32/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards maximum levels for arsenic, theobromine, Datura sp., Ricinus communis L., Croton tiglium L. and Abrus precatorius L.; and Commission Directive 2010/6/EU of 9 February 2010 amending Annex I to Directive 2002/32/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards mercury, free gossypol, nitrites and Mowrah, Bassia, Madhuca.
