Abstract
This Order amends the Artificial Insemination of Domestic Animals (Bovine Semen) (Jersey) Order 2008 as follows: (a) in Article 33, for the words “is be used” there shall be substituted the words “is to be used”; (b) in Article 38, in paragraph (b) the word “and” shall be deleted and after that paragraph there shall be inserted the following paragraph – “(ba) the importer or consignee of the semen has notified the Minister in writing at least 24 hours in advance, of the nature of the consignment, its anticipated date of arrival in Jersey and where it is intended to be delivered; and”; (c) in Article 48 the words “for the purposes of Article 2(3) of the Artificial Insemination of Domestic Animals (Jersey) Law 19523” and paragraph (l) are deleted.
