Abstract
This Act declares the waters specified in the Schedule, and the sea-bed thereunder, to be coral reef preserves. No person shall remove or wilfully damage or wilfully impair the growth of any marine fauna or flora in a coral reef preserve. Having in possession or custody of any marine fauna or flora removed from a coral reef preserve shall also be an offence. A map delineating the coral reef preserves shall be deposited with the Director of Agriculture and Fisheries. (6 sections completed by 1 Schedule)

Consolidated version of Act No. 98 of 1966 as amended last by Act No. 19 of 1988.Nothing in this Act shall prejudice any right of the Crown in relation to a coral reef preserve or to any submarine areas or property therein.
