Endangered Species (CITES) (Designation and Appointment) (Jersey) Order 2012.

This Order, made under articles 9 and 11 of the Endangered Species (CITES) (Jersey) Law 2012, designates the Minister for Planning and Environment as the Scientific Authority for purposes of article 9 of the Law. It also appoints: (a) an inspector within the meaning of the Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Law 1956; and (b) a person holding the office of Director of Environmental Policy in a department of the States for which the Minister for Planning and Environment is responsible, as officers for the purposes of the Law.
