Abstract
These Regulations, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by sections 98 and 118 of the Gibraltar Merchant Shipping (Safety, etc.) Act 1993, and for the purposes of transposing into the law of Gibraltar Directive 2000/59/EC on port reception facilities for ship-generated waste and cargo residues, are here setting the provisions as regards the port waste management and related operations. These Regulations apply to all Gibraltar ports and to all ships entering port waters.
