Abstract
The Act applies to commercial fishing for salmon in 1984 in the Greenland fishing territory west of Kap Farvel (Cap Farewell). Commercial fishing for salmon may only take place following granted license and after prior authorization by KNAPK (Greenland Fishing and Hunting Organization) in regards to restrictions in the use of certain fishing gears, types or fishing methods.
Salmon-fishing licence shall be granted to vessels of a maximum of 150 BRT of size and fishing thereof shall be limited as per article 4 (fishing area and quota); vessels measuing between 80 and 150 BRT with shrimp-fishing licence for 1984 shall have a total allowable catch of 15 tons of salmon each.
