Order No. 7 on reporting fishing and fish products sale.

The purpose of this Order is to establish reporting measure for first-hand purchase of fishery products in Greenland. The Order applies to Greenlandic vessels landing outside of national waters and to all fishing vessels landing in Greenland for export purposes prior to their catch first sale. Landing details must be logged in vessel logbooks detailing the quantity of catch and for vessels measuring less than 75 GRT/120 GT logbooks shall be required throughout their fishing journey to the purchaser. For vessels greater than 75 GRT/120 GT a log should be submitted to the Greenland Fishing License Control (GFLK) immediately after landing for each port call. For Greenlandic and foreign vessels unloading abroad, proof of fish quantity landed should be notified to GFLK within 48 hours (reference is made to Annex 1). For vessels offloading in Greenland for export before the first purchase, shall submit proof of fishing quantity landed within 48 hours.
To enforce national and international inspection rules, the GFLK designates specific ports for landing certain fish products or fish from specific areas.
