Abstract
These Regulations are setting the complete rules as regards the urban waste water collection and necessary treatment, and further regulate the possible discharge or collection of industrial waste waters (primary and secondary treatment), in relation to the public health demands. This text also establishes the rules regarding the designation and classification of water sensible areas.
The text is divided into 16 Regulations, as follows: Title; Interpretation; Sensitive areas and less sensitive areas; Collecting and treatment system; Requirements as to provision of treatment; Discharge of treated urban waste water; Discharge of industrial waste water to a collecting system and a treatment system; Discharges of certain industrial waste water into receiving waters; Requirement to notify another member State and the Commission; Monitoring; Information; Authorization; Offences; Offences by corporations etc; Defences; Revocation.
