Public Health (Urban Waste Water Collection and Treatment) Regulations 1999.

These Regulations are setting the complete rules as regards the urban waste water collection and necessary treatment, and further regulate the possible discharge or collection of industrial waste waters (primary and secondary treatment), in relation to the public health demands. This text also establishes the rules regarding the designation and classification of water sensible areas.

This text considers the provisions of Council Directive 91/271/EEC concerning urban waste water treatment as amended by Commission Directive 98/15/EC.
